Mazie Mae Sigmon-Palmer was last seen July 14, 1979 at the King’s Inn Nightclub on 2nd Avenue in Charleston, West Virginia. She and her friend, Jay Farley, had left the Roarin’ 20’s club earlier that night.
Mazie was recently divorced and according to family, had been dating Jay for a couple of months. She was wearing an orange or pink colored blouse, Lee blue jeans, carrying a small blue purse, and had on dangle earrings.
Jay Farley’s body was found 5 years later, approximately 45 minutes away from Charleston. His hands had been tied behind his back and had a gunshot wound to the head. A bullet was found at the scene, but no sign of Mazie.
